Oregon Sightseeing Tour
July 21 – 31, 2013 (11 days. 10 nights) $1542.00 per person
This fun tour starts at the beautiful Red Lion Hotel On The River in Portland.
We will visit scenic highlights along the Oregon Coast and explore Fort Clatsop, viewpoints and the smallest port in the world.
Let’s go traveling along the Historic Columbia River Gorge Highway. We will have time for pictures at viewing areas like the famous Vista House at Crown Point. Make sure to bring some hiking shoes to take some short hikes to see a variety of waterfall including Multnomah Falls. A stop at Bonneville Dam and Fish Hatchery will be fun and give you time to find Herman. Who’s Herman? You’ll find out!
Central Oregon’s high desert is a place that we will explore. From our Bend hotel we will visit the famous Smith Rock, Newberry National Volcanic Monument and Lava Lands Visitor Center are just a few of the places that we will visit. There is fun for all.
Then we travel to Southern Oregon by way of Collier Memorial Logging State Park and time to explore the majestic Crater Lake State Park. Our lodging will be in the city of Medford. While in Southern Oregon we will experience the Historic Jacksonville City and it’s highlights.
As we work our way back to Portland we travel through the Willamette Valley stopping at view points and some city highlights. Your last night will be a beautiful restful night in Portland.
