We have many wonderful waterfalls in Oregon. Some are in remote places and others are very easy to get to. It is always an adventure to head to the countryside to spend the day visiting mother nature and take a hike. Oregon waterfalls are icing on the cake at the end of the hike.

Bridal Veil Falls is just one of the many waterfalls to embrace here in Oregon. It is a short hike about 0.6 mile round trip hike. It will get your heart to pumping on the way back to the parking lot. It is all up hill.

There are benches for those of you who would like to stop and enjoy the woods and take a break.

This is a fun hike with a great view of the waterfall when you reach the end of the trail.

Wildlife & More 100

Many of us love wildlife and would like to get up close and personal with the wildlife around us. We all know that is not a wise thing to do. We do not want to disturb the wildlife. We want them to have as much freedom to live in their nature habitat as possible.  But, we can visit areas around us where we can learn more about our worlds wildlife and get up and personal.

Wildlife & More 172

We had the chance to visit the Wildlife Game Safari Park at Bandon, Oregon. We were able to see a wide variety of wildlife, feed them and pet some of the babies.

Wildlife & More 646

It was a nice place for families to learn and experience some time with our wildlife friends. We need to take care of our world and all who live here.

If you would like to join us sometime… Give us a call.

On a journey to the Central Oregon Coast. We enjoyed Boiler Bay Wayside which is between Lincoln City and just outside of Depoe Bay, Oregon. There was lots of waves and very little wind. A great day for being at the coast.

Digital Picture 408

While we enjoyed the view of the ocean we also had the opportunity to watch the local fisherman fishing at Boiler Bay Wayside. We were a bit early for they were just getting started with their day.

Digital Picture 414

These fisherman are fishing for rock cod and sea bass.

It does not matter what time of the year it is, the Oregon Coast is a wonderful place to visit.  Whether you like walking on the sandy beaches and collecting sea shells or setting in a hotel room watching the stormy waves roll in, winter can be a great time to visit the Central Oregon Coast.
