Archive for January, 2014

On a journey to the Central Oregon Coast. We enjoyed Boiler Bay Wayside which is between Lincoln City and just outside of Depoe Bay, Oregon. There was lots of waves and very little wind. A great day for being at the coast.

While we enjoyed the view of the ocean we also had the opportunity to watch the local fisherman fishing at Boiler Bay Wayside. We were a bit early for they were just getting started with their day.

These fisherman are fishing for rock cod and sea bass.

It does not matter what time of the year it is, the Oregon Coast is a wonderful place to visit.  Whether you like walking on the sandy beaches and collecting sea shells or setting in a hotel room watching the stormy waves roll in, winter can be a great time to visit the Central Oregon Coast.
